Drop Party: By the WAYE, Issue No. 02!
As we did for our inaugural issue, By the WAYE No. 02 is having a drop party, and it’s happening on Thursday, November 6th, from 7 until 9 PM. And it will be held once again at Andco North, located at 220 Ninth Street, 2nd Floor, Jersey City, NJ.
We invite you to join us for an evening of poetry and community. Gia Clark-Grillo, Issue 02’s featured poet will be reciting some of her work alongside a curated selection of poets reading their poems from the pages of By the WAYE No. 02.

Our Issue 01 Drop Party was everything we hoped for and more. The room was buzzing, the energy was contagious, and seeing so many of you celebrating this first issue with each other was everything.

Two Years of WAYE
We celebrated TWO inspiring years of WAYE, the poetry reading series we started on National Poetry Month in 2022. We had 10 open mic poets, a 4-poet showcase from our 2023 lineup, and 1 special guest poet! We ate cake, raffled off 2 WAYE t-shirts, and after all was said and done, walked away feeling excited for another year of poetry.Photos by Brian W. Fraser
